Dear Sirs:

Re:       24(1)     Advance Income Tax Ruling

We are writing with respect to your letter dated January 31, 1991 in which you advised us of a delay in proceeding with the proposed transactions outlined in your letter dated December 14, 1990 requesting an advance income tax ruling on behalf of 24(1)

Since we have not yet received your instructions in this regard we are writing to advise you that we are now closing our file with respect to your request. However, should your clients wish to proceed with the proposed transactions at some future date we would be pleased to re-open our file at that time.

In the meantime an invoice for the time spent considering your request will be forwarded under separate cover.
