We are enclosing a copy of Order in Council P.C. 1989-1635 dated
August 24, 1989 authorizing the remission of income tax for 1982
and 1983 in the amount of    19(1)   and     19(1)   
respectively, and all interest payable on such amounts by the
taxpayer.  We are enclosing a copy of Mr. Jelinek's letter dated
September 27, 1989 which informed the taxpayer of the remission.

The taxpayer's account will be adjusted by the Revenue Programs Section in Head Office in accordance with the instructions set out in TOM 5830.

We also enclose       19(1)       T1 Returns for 1981, 1982 and
1983.
