Dear Sirs:

This is in reply to your letter of October 9, 1990 concerning the eligibility of B Corp. Instalment Receipts as on investment for an RRSP. Your letter was referred to us for reply.

Your question relates to an actual transaction undertaken by one of your clients which, according to the documentation you submitted, has previously been commented upon by the Enquiries Group of the Vacouver District Office. Accordingly, Rulings Directorate cannot, as a matter of practice, offer any comments directly to you. Instead, we would ask that you address your concerns to the District Office for their consideration, who may, at their discretion, request our assistance should they require it.
