We are writing in response to your letter of September 13, 1989, wherein you requested an extension to the deadline for completion of the proposed transactions set out in the Previous Ruling, as previously extended in the Supplementary Ruling.

We confirm that the rulings given in the Previous Ruling, subject to the conditions stated therein will be binding on Revenue Canada, Taxation provided that the proposed transactions are completed on or before March 31,1990.
