Dear Sir:
This is in reply to your further letter of January 8, 1990, concerning 19(1) and her liability to pay Canadian income taxes. As previously stated in our letter of September 28, 1989, the provisions of the Income Tax Act governing confidentiality prevent us from providing such information to anyone outside Revenue Canada unless specifically authorized by law or by the taxpayer in writing.
Officials of our Mississauga District Taxation Office (P.O. Box 6000, 77 City Center Drive, Mississauga, Ontario, L5A 4E9) may only disclose information requested to 19(1) personally or to her authorized representative.
