Pursuant to our telephone conversation of October 19, 1989 19(1) Astaphan) wherein you informed Mr. Astaphan that your clients had made application to the 24(1) authorities for pre-approval of the proposed continuance and amalgamation, and wherein you indicated that you could not estimate the length of time it would take for your clients to receive any such approval, we hereby confirm that the ruling request has been withdrawn. We understand that your clients will resubmit their requests upon receipt of the said pre-approvals and certain supporting legal opinions.
