This is in reply to your letter of July 27, 1989, concerning 19(1) and her liability to pay Canadian income taxes. Unfortunately, the provisions of the Income Tax Act governing confidentiality prevent us from providing such information to anyone outside Revenue Canada unless specifically authorized by law or by the taxpayer in writing.
We will therefore forward the information you have provided to our Mississauga District Taxation Office, P.O. Box 600, 77 City Centre Drive, Mississauga, Ontario, L5A 4E9, in order that the taxpayer may discuss her situation personally with an official of our department or provide us with written authorization to deal with her representative.
