Dear Sirs:

Re:  Advance Ruling 3-1964 issued August 25, 1988 24(1)

This is in reply of to your letter of June 27, 1989 requesting an extension of time allowed by the above-noted ruling in which to implement the proposed transactions. 

This will confirm that the Department will be bound by that advance income ruling, subject to the general limitations stated therein, provided the proposed transactions are completed by March 30, 1990
