We are replying to your letter of July 7, 1989, concerning the claim made by the publishers of the Money Reporter.

We are unaware of any particular provision of the Income Tax Act which would entitle a taxpayer to an additional refund of $137.50.  If you have completed your income tax return correctly, no further adjustment should be warranted.  If you have concern regarding any particular aspect of you return, you should contact your district taxation office located at 305 Rene-Levesque Blvd. West, Montreal, Quebec H2Z 1A6.
