Dear Senator Nurgitz:

I am writing in response to your letter of May 1, 1989, with respect to a remission request made on behalf of 19(1) and 19(1).

I enclose a copy of a letter to 19(1) advising her that an Order in Council was issued on September 21, 1989, granting remission of 1984 income taxes payable by 19(1) and 19(1).  A copy of the Order in Council is enclosed for your information.

I wish to thank you for bringing their concerns to my attention.
