Dear Sirs:

Re:  Advance Income Tax Rulings

As discussed with you over the telephone on January 3, 1990, I am enclosing a copy of an order issued under the Financial Administration Act numbered P.C. 1989-1949 and dated September 28, 1989.

In brief this order revokes the original Order in Council of March 1983 and authorizes the Minister of National Revenue to prescribe fees to be paid "in respect of a request" for an advance income tax ruling rather than for advanced rulings "given".
