Further to our telephone conversation of July 20, 1989, we acknowledge withdrawal of your request for an advance income tax ruling dated November 14, 1988, on behalf of the above taxpayers. The billing for time spent to date will be sent separately.
We understood that you may revise your ruling request and/or make further submissions with respect to the withdrawn ruling at some later date. If the substance of the proposed transactions is not altered significantly from the one we have reviewed, additional authorizations from the taxpayers will not be required. With any future correspondence please refer to our file number 3-2185 and address it to the attention of Mr. F. Lee Workman.
