Re:  24(1)

This is in reply to your letter of November 21, 1989, wherein you requested that we extend the time for the completion of the proposed transactions described in the Previous Ruling.

Provided that there have been no changes to the relevant facts and proposed transactions as they were described in the Previous Ruling, and subject to the other conditions referred to therein, we confirm that the Previous Ruling will be binding on Revenue Canada, Taxation provided that the proposed transactions described therein are completed by March 31, 1990.
