Re: 24(1) Advance Income Tax Ruling Request
In your letter of December 9, 1988 you requested an advance income tax ruling on behalf of the above referenced client.
This matter is still outstanding because when we informed 19(1) 19(1) that we could not provide the requested ruling. 24(1) requested time so that he might obtain instructions from 24(1) and requested we hold the ruling request in abeyance until he receives instructions. Accordingly, this will result in further delay.
When the 24(1) has had the opportunity to consider the matter and we can be of further assistance, please let us know. In the meantime, our bill for the time spent to date on this ruling request will be forwarded under separate cover.
