Re:  Advance Income Tax Ruling Request 24(1)

Further to our recent telephone discussion, we are writing to confirm that we are unable to proceed with your August 14, 1989 request for an advance income tax ruling until we receive the additional submission which we requested.  In the meantime, we will be forwarding a billing to cover the time spent on your request to date.
