RE:  APPLICATION OF ARTICLE 10 IN THE CASE OF 19(1)

This is in answer to your letter, dated June 6, 1989, in which you request our concurrence in special arrangements under Article X of the Agreement on Social Security between Canada and the Federal Republic of Germany.

We are pleased to accept, on behalf of the competent authority for Canada, that the person listed above will be covered under the Federal Republic of Germany social security legislation in respect of the extended assignment.  Wince the initial assignment has expired, no doubt you will arrange to have a certificate of coverage issued to cover this period in accordance with Article 6 of the Implementing Arrangement.
