Subject: Forestry Issue Report #l 06 CCA Classification of Logging Roads
We are writing in reply to your memorandum of December 20, 1990, in which you requested our confirmation that the positions relied upon by you which are reflected in report # 06 are the current policies of Rulings in regards to the issue of whether a logging road which otherwise qualifies for inclusion in Class 10(n) or 15 is excluded therefrom solely by virtue of it servicing more than one timber limit.
We confirm that our general position with respect to the CCA classification of logging roads as stated in our memorandum dated October 6, 1988 (7-2622) continues to be our current position on the matter. However, we note the redundancy of the last sentence in the paragraph under the heading "Background" and suggest that it be deleted.
We hope that our comments are helpful to you
